Family planning services are provided at all ACCESS health centers. ACCESS Des Plaines Valley Health Center offers free birth control through the Illinois Department of Public Health’s Title X program.

We provide confidential family planning counseling, education around safe sex and STDs, birth control including IUDs, and emergency contraception. In consultation with your medical provider, you can choose the birth control method that best suits your needs.
Medicaid, Medicaid HMO, Medicare and most major health plans are accepted to cover the costs of medical care. All uninsured pregnant women are eligible for All Kids--Moms and Babies to cover the costs of their prenatal and post-pardum care. A sliding fee scale based on ability to pay is available for uninsured patients. Case management services are provided at no charge.
